Uganda is ranked second globally with the youngest population with 49 percent below 15 years and a whole 75 percent of the country\u2019s population being youth below 30 years, this leaves the country at a youth bulge that signals increased un employment rate due to the rise in the number of young people with limited skills and education.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
Ugandan government realized the challenge its education system faces and in 1997 introduced Universal primary education (UPE) program, which saw a high enrollment rate though the completion rate is low and ranks the country with the highest elementary school dropout rate in the world.<\/p>
Out of the entire school going children, only 33 percent complete primary education and one out of four children that start primary education make it to secondary level albeit the government introduced Universal secondary education in 2007.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
It\u2019s worth noting that children with disabilities are largely excluded from formal schooling because of shortage of special needs teachers and facilities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t we believe all children need access to education but they also need to receive an education of good quality.<\/p> This is what the right to education is all about and our role is to bridge the gap by providing the scholastic materials,paying school fees for our children,counseling and following the children both at school and at their homes.<\/p> \u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\tFactors that are contributing to the low performance of the education system in Uganda include the following<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
